Senior Security Engineer - Application Security

Samsara, a pioneer in Connected Operations Cloud (NYSE: IOT), is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join their Application Security team. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with strategic influence, focusing on securing both product and corporate environments. The position involves leading application security initiatives, implementing security controls, conducting threat modeling, and acting as a subject matter expert in Python and Go security practices.

The ideal candidate will help shape Samsara's application security future, working with engineering teams to identify and mitigate security risks early in the development lifecycle. They'll be responsible for implementing secure-by-default practices across the tech stack and managing various security tools and processes including SAST, SCA, and secret scanning pipelines.
