Senior Software Engineer I, Smart Trailer and Connected Equipment

Samsara (NYSE: IOT) is seeking a Senior Software Engineer I to join their Smart Trailer and Connected Equipment business unit, one of their fastest-growing product lines. This role focuses on delivering end-to-end solutions for trailer and unpowered equipment management, including tracking utilization, sensor monitoring for loads and temperature, and comprehensive asset tracking solutions.

As a full stack engineer, you'll work on solutions that directly impact industries powering the global economy, helping to improve safety, efficiency, and sustainability of physical operations. With over 2.3 million IoT devices deployed globally, you'll build scalable innovations for customers across various industries.

This remote position offers a competitive compensation package ranging from $126,140 to $190,800 USD, plus equity through RSU awards, comprehensive health benefits, and flexible working arrangements. The role is open to US-based candidates except those in the San Francisco Bay Metro Area, NYC Metro Area, and Washington, D.C. Metro Area.
