Senior Software Engineer II - Mobile Platform

Samsara, a NYSE-listed pioneer in Connected Operations™ Cloud (IOT), is seeking a Senior Software Engineer II for their Mobile Platform team. This role is crucial in developing the core frameworks and tooling that enable mobile innovation across the organization. The position involves working with React Native, TypeScript, and GraphQL to create robust mobile solutions that serve multiple business units.

The Mobile Platform team is responsible for critical infrastructure including UX components, design systems, CI pipelines, monitoring tools, and networking layers. These systems are fundamental to Samsara's mobile applications that serve industries representing over 40% of global GDP, including agriculture, construction, transportation, and manufacturing.

As a Senior Engineer, you'll be instrumental in shaping mobile-first experiences while working with cutting-edge technologies. The role offers the opportunity to impact physical operations at scale, with over 2.3 million IoT devices deployed globally. You'll work closely with customers, participating in interviews and using metrics to ensure solutions meet real-world needs.

The position requires 8+ years of enterprise software experience, with 4+ years in mobile development and 2+ years of React Native expertise. The ideal candidate should have strong experience with Redux and GraphQL, platform team experience, and a track record of leading large-scale projects.
