Description For Software Engineer - GenAI

Samsara is seeking a motivated full stack Software Engineer to join their Safety Events and Workflows team. As a pioneer in Connected Operations™ Cloud, Samsara leverages IoT data to enhance the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of physical operations across industries. The role focuses on developing features for their safety event platform, which combines advanced sensor data, analytics, and AI to enable customer and driver safety workflows.

The position offers an opportunity to work on impactful projects that directly affect industries running our world's physical operations. With over 2.3 million IoT devices deployed globally, you'll tackle challenges at scale while working with both new and mature technologies. The role requires strong software engineering practices, effective communication, and enthusiasm for learning in a collaborative environment.

As a Software Engineer, you'll be responsible for architecting, building, and maintaining full-stack solutions using technologies like Go, GraphQL, TypeScript, React, and MySQL. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, participate in customer feedback loops, and ensure the operational health of production systems. The position offers significant growth opportunities and the chance to influence core architecture decisions.

The company provides a competitive compensation package, including base salary ranging from $89,548 to $150,500 USD, plus bonus/variable compensation and RSU awards.
