Description For Taylor HVAC Engineering Technical Lead 74464

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a highly motivated Thermal Engineering Technical Lead to support the Facilities Operations Group. This role involves leading and mentoring a team of 5+ engineers responsible for managing the day-to-day thermal engineering of a multi-Fab Semiconductor facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a team of 5+ engineers
  • Ensure equipment achieves quality specifications for Fab production
  • Oversee project management for thermal-related projects
  • Collaborate with operational supervisors to understand current needs of Thermal systems
  • Lead incident response and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams
  • Implement processes & procedures to improve and standardize work
  • Perform cost and forecasting for operational and maintenance needs
  • Develop standard operating procedures
  • Test and implement innovative technologies

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
  • 8+ years of experience
  • Previous experience in plant operations, reliability engineering, or design engineering
  • Professional Engineer's license is a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Windows applications
