Engineer II, Software Analysis Engineering

Samsung Electronics America is seeking an Engineer II for Software Analysis Engineering to join their team in Plano, TX. This role focuses on complex system verification and customer support for Samsung's 5G RAN Equipment, including virtual EMS and vRAN technologies. The position combines technical expertise in telecommunications with software analysis and testing responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing feature validation, interoperability testing, and field evaluations to ensure product acceptance from customers. They will work closely with Product and Technology Engineers to develop and execute comprehensive test plans, analyze customer requirements, and ensure proper test coverage of RAN CP/OAM functionality.

This role requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 6 years of progressive experience in software analysis engineering or related telecommunications engineering roles. The position demands strong knowledge of 4G/5G technologies, wireless concepts, and system engineering activities. The successful candidate will serve as a Subject Matter Expert, driving technical solutions through complex organizational dynamics.
