Engineer III, System Structure Design

Samsung Electronics America is seeking an experienced Engineer III for System Structure Design to join their team in Plano, Texas. This role sits at the intersection of telecommunications infrastructure and software engineering, focusing on developing and implementing 4G/5G technologies.

As an Engineer III, you'll be responsible for developing product requirements, conducting deep-dive customer sessions on 4G/5G Call processing, and leading technical discussions with various stakeholder groups.

The ideal candidate will bring 6 years of experience in RF design and optimization projects, with specific expertise in 4G/5G call processing, RRC, S1-MME, S1-U and X2 protocols. You'll need to understand complex concepts including Hybrid Beamforming, Massive MIMO, and LTE-NR interworking & co-existence.

This role offers significant growth potential within Samsung's telecommunications division. You'll be working with cross-functional teams, leading field integration testing efforts, and managing Tier3 support for critical systems. The position requires occasional travel (up to 10%) for customer interactions and field work.
