Sr. Memory Controller Micro-Architect (Principal Engineer)

Samsung, a global leader in advanced semiconductor technology, is seeking a Senior Memory Controller Micro-Architect to join their Austin Research and Development Center (SARC) and Advanced Computing Lab (ACL). As a Principal Engineer, you'll lead the development of advanced memory controllers for next-generation technologies including LPDDR5, LPDDR6, and Processing in Memory (PIM). You'll be part of a global task force that transforms innovative ideas into real-world solutions, working closely with system architects, verification teams, and performance specialists.

The position offers comprehensive ownership of memory-controller related micro-architecture, RTL design, and performance/power optimization. You'll be working with a team that develops proprietary coherent interconnect and memory controllers deployed in high-volume products, directly influencing the product roadmap for market-leading system IP solutions.
