Description For DevOps Engineer
Sardine is a leader in financial crime prevention, applying machine learning to detect and stop fraud before it happens. We're seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our remote-first team. You'll design and implement DevOps processes, build automated deployment and monitoring systems, and optimize our infrastructure. Key responsibilities include Terraform management, Kubernetes migration, implementing automation tools, and improving scalability and reliability. Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proficiency in Python, Terraform, Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes, Linux, Bash, GoLang, Git, Docker, and PostgreSQL
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration, and cloud deployments
- Strong skills in data structures, algorithms, and API integration

Responsibilities For DevOps Engineer
- Design and implement DevOps processes
- Build and maintain automated deployment and monitoring processes
- Design automated fault detection infrastructure
- Automate operational tasks and address risks proactively
- Develop statistical and machine learning models for fraud prevention
- Use data and models to support risk mitigation strategies
- Terraform SardineAI's entire infrastructure
- Migrate existing infrastructure to Kubernetes
- Implement automation tools like Datadog as code
- Improve monitoring and resilience of infrastructure
- Enhance scalability, reliability, and performance of infrastructure
- Write high-quality code in various programming languages
- Build CI/CD pipelines with security controls and monitoring capabilities
- Improve telemetry tooling including tracing support for architecture
