Software Engineer III

Sigma Defense is seeking a talented Software Engineer III to join their core development team in Fairmont, West Virginia. This role focuses on developing and implementing computer-based products for military customers, specifically in Electronic Warfare Systems. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in C++/Linux environments. A strong background in math or physics is required, along with experience in 3D modeling/animation and Git-based environments. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.

As a Software Engineer III, you will be responsible for various aspects of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design specification development, system implementation, test planning, and installation support. You'll work in a structured, multi-disciplinary team environment, contributing to critical military systems.
