Description For Solutions Engineer

We're seeking a Solutions Engineer to join Sign in Solutions (SIS)! This role requires technical aptitude and a passion for working with prospective and existing customers to present solutions addressing their business needs. With a background in SaaS sales and/or customer success, you'll partner with Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams to bring the Sign In Solutions vision to market.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Discovering and understanding prospects' business challenges, processes, and goals
  • Positioning SIS in a compelling and easily understood manner
  • Handing off new customers to the post-sales implementation team
  • Supporting the organization in exploring new use cases
  • Sharing valuable insights with product and marketing teams

As an evangelist for the Sign In Solutions platform, you'll find opportunities where SIS can win. This hybrid role (3x/week) is based in St. Petersburg, FL.

  • 3+ years of experience as a pre-sales technical consultant in a SaaS organization
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to explain technical capabilities in everyday language
  • Process-oriented with an eye for detail

Responsibilities For Solutions Engineer

  • Partner with account executives throughout the sales cycle
  • Establish customer trust and confidence by partnering in business & technical discovery
  • Position existing Sign in Solutions functionality to solve a prospect's needs
  • Assist in developing and delivering customized presentations/demonstrations
  • Inspire customers by telling a differentiated story that demonstrates competitive advantages
  • Execute against competitive threats in deal cycles
  • Listen to and empathize with customers and relay feedback to product and engineering organizations
  • Engineer scalable, reliable infrastructure for effective demos
  • Help drive Proof of Concepts and Pilots

Requirements For Solutions Engineer

  • 3+ years of previous experience as a pre-sales technical consultant in a SaaS based organization
  • Ability to have exploratory conversations with prospective clients to understand their business challenges
  • Strong presentation skills with a unique ability to explain technical capabilities in everyday jargon
  • Process and detail oriented, eye for detail and ability to put together information in a clear and easy to follow manner
  • Strong communication skills and customer-oriented attitude
