Signify, formerly Philips Lighting, is seeking an Applied Machine Learning Engineer to join their Research group in Burlington, Massachusetts. This role is part of their center of excellence on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) innovation, focused on driving AI/ML innovations for systems, IoT propositions, and innovative applications.

Responsibilities For Applied Machine Learning Engineer

  • Develop breakthrough AI-enabled IoT systems and services leveraging connected lighting
  • Work with research scientists to develop AI/ML solutions and proof-of-concept demonstrators
  • Create new IoT applications for lighting in buildings, homes, cities, retail, industrial facilities
  • Develop cutting-edge algorithms and frameworks for IoT systems

Requirements For Applied Machine Learning Engineer

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Information Technology, or related field
  • Experience with Python, Java, SQL
  • Knowledge of Machine Learning/Deep Learning including Supervised, Unsupervised methods
  • Experience with PyTorch, Sklearn, Matplotlib, Keras, numPy, pandas
  • Experience with Tableau, PowerBI, OpenCV
  • Knowledge of Transformers (BERT, GPT), Spacy, Nltk
  • Experience with Docker, RESTful API, OOP
  • Understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms
