Senior Full Stack Engineer

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer at SigTech, you will:

• Drive technical direction with departmental leads and own projects from beginning to end.
• Set standards for code quality, testing and enterprise grade architecture, as well as the championing of documentation.
• Work alongside Product, UX, DevOps and other teams to prioritise and deliver new features and products for our customers.
• Pair & buddy with junior and new members of the team to help them grow in their career at SigTech and beyond.
• Keep up to date with new and developing technologies; championing and incorporating where appropriate.
• Be responsible for the output of your team.

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• A minimum of 4+ years experience in Software Engineering
• Exceptional understanding of Javascript / Typescript
• Solid understanding of NestJS, Express or similar NodeJS backend frameworks
• Experience in React, Angular or similar frontend technologies
• Cloud Architecture & System Design (preferably AWS)
• A keen interest in harnessing AI tools to supercharge productivity
• Experience with microservices / distributed systems
• Experience with test frameworks (Jest, Cypress, Mocha, etc.)

It's great if you also have:

• Prior experience or a strong interest in FinTech & SaaS
• Experience with Python
• Work experience in a start/scale-up
