As a Sr. Backend Developer, you'll be instrumental in designing and implementing healthcare data management solutions using modern web technologies. The role requires expertise in Java, NextJS, and HAPI FHIR, with a strong emphasis on backend development. You'll be responsible for developing and maintaining HL7 FHIR standards implementations, leading code reviews, and ensuring high-quality, performant solutions.

Responsibilities For Sr. Backend Developer
- Design and implement applications using web technologies
- Develop and maintain reference implementations of HL7 FHIR standards
- Create and maintain product and support documentation
- Analyze and evaluate requirements and propose high level design
- Participate in and provide final approval for code reviews
- Research technologies for new and existing modules
- Break down work for other team members and lead project issues/status
- Lead by example for department/team best practices
- Ensure accurate reporting of billable hours in NetSuite
Requirements For Sr. Backend Developer
- 8+ years of experience with Software Development
- Full-stack development with Java, NextJS, HAPI FHIR
- Senior level experience with Java, Spring, Rest API, SQL and Git
- Intermediate level experience with UI development
- Ability to work autonomously and in ambiguity
- Experience in end-to-end feature development
- Knowledge of healthcare, HL7/FHIR preferred
- Creating and maintaining clear documentation
- Ability to maintain repositories with focus on code health
