Description For Trainee Water Hygiene Engineer

SMS Environmental is hiring a Trainee Water Treatment Engineer to join their Water Hygiene team across Buckinghamshire and the surrounding area. The role involves ensuring high-quality delivery of pre-planned water hygiene maintenance to various client sites while providing excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Cleaning and flushing water outlets
  • Checking and cleaning water tanks and systems
  • Carrying out TMV checks and maintenance
  • Completing work on in-house software using an iPad
  • Delivering quality customer service to various clients

The company offers comprehensive training from their experienced engineering team, mentoring, and support from experienced Supervisors. A company van and fuel card for business mileage are provided (full UK driving license required).

They work with various clients, offering services such as water testing, risk assessments, air sampling, and air conditioning maintenance.

Responsibilities For Trainee Water Hygiene Engineer

  • Cleaning and flushing of water outlets

  • Traveling to varied client sites across Northants, Bucks and Herts

Requirements For Trainee Water Hygiene Engineer

  • Previous experience in a trade and customer-focused role
  • Passion and dedication to develop a career within water hygiene
  • Strong verbal communication skills, with ability to build customer relationships
  • Ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently
  • Experience using Apps & IT software / equipment such as an iPad and Mobile Phone
  • Excellent time-keeping
  • Full UK, manual, driving license
  • Right to Work in the UK
  • Willingness to undergo a DBS check
