SMS Environmental is hiring a Trainee Water Treatment Engineer to join their Water Hygiene team across Buckinghamshire and the surrounding area. The role involves ensuring high-quality delivery of pre-planned water hygiene maintenance to various client sites while providing excellent customer service.
Key responsibilities include:
- Cleaning and flushing water outlets
- Checking and cleaning water tanks and systems
- Carrying out TMV checks and maintenance
- Completing work on in-house software using an iPad
- Delivering quality customer service to various clients
The company offers comprehensive training from their experienced engineering team, mentoring, and support from experienced Supervisors. A company van and fuel card for business mileage are provided (full UK driving license required).

Responsibilities For Trainee Water Hygiene Engineer
- Cleaning and flushing of water outlets
- Checking and cleaning water tanks and systems
- Carrying out TMV checks and maintenance
- Completing all work on in-house software using an iPad
- Delivery of quality customer service to a variety of clients
- Traveling to varied client sites across Northants, Bucks and Herts
Requirements For Trainee Water Hygiene Engineer
- Previous experience in a trade and customer-focused role
- Passion and dedication to develop a career within water hygiene
- Strong verbal communication skills, with ability to build customer relationships
- Ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently
- Experience using Apps & IT software / equipment such as an iPad and Mobile Phone
- Excellent time-keeping
- Full UK, manual, driving license
- Right to Work in the UK
- Willingness to undergo a DBS check
