Responsibilities For Image Quality Engineer

  • Work with cross-functional teams to optimize imaging solutions
  • Evaluate, tune, and test camera software, imaging pipelines, and control algorithms
  • Diagnose and solve sensor, image signal processor, and imaging software issues
  • Develop and analyze image quality tests for camera systems
  • Develop tools for image quality tuning, testing, and evaluation

Requirements For Image Quality Engineer

Python
Linux
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Imaging Science, Color Science, or relevant fields
  • 3+ years of experience with imaging systems on major ISP platforms
  • Experience with image processing using MATLAB, Python etc.
  • Strong imaging fundamentals including image quality, camera image signal processing, and image sensors
  • Experience with image quality tuning, testing, and evaluation
  • Knowledge of ISP blocks, camera control algorithms and tuning parameters
  • Experience with embedded systems, Android, and Embedded Linux OS
  • Experience with image sensor technologies and imaging system integration
  • Experience with IQ lab equipment including lighting, scenes, and automation
  • Excellent communications skills and strong teamwork abilities
