Description For Materials Engineer, Electronic Materials (Starlink)

SpaceX, founded with the vision of enabling human life on Mars, is seeking a Materials Engineer for their Starlink project. Starlink, the world's largest satellite constellation, provides fast, reliable internet to over 4 million users globally. The role involves working on integrated circuit packaging, printed circuit board manufacturing, and assembly for Starlink.

  • Collaborate with engineers, subject matter experts, and technicians to solve complex material and processing challenges

Requirements For Materials Engineer, Electronic Materials (Starlink)

  • Bachelor's degree in materials science, polymer science, chemical engineering, electrical engineering or other engineering discipline
  • 2+ years of experience in electronics manufacturing and characterizing, testing, and evaluating the performance of electronic material
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee, or eligible to obtain required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State (ITAR requirements)
