Operations Engineer (Starlink Product)

SpaceX is seeking an Operations Engineer to join their Starlink team, focusing on the performance and reliability of customer hardware. This role combines data science, engineering, and operational excellence to ensure Starlink's customer hardware meets the highest standards of quality and reliability.

The position involves working with SpaceX's revolutionary Starlink project, the world's largest satellite constellation providing high-speed internet globally. You'll be responsible for monitoring and improving the performance of customer hardware components including dishes, routers, and power supplies after they leave the factory.

Key aspects of the role include building efficient data pipelines, creating and maintaining performance dashboards, and developing predictive models to identify potential hardware issues before they impact customers. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, production, test, and customer experience to drive positive outcomes.

The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in data analysis, with experience in Python and SQL. You'll need to be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, handling tight deadlines, and presenting findings to executives. The role requires both technical expertise and strong communication skills to effectively collaborate across teams.
