Description For Sr. Full Stack Software Engineer (Starlink)

SpaceX is revolutionizing space technology with the ultimate goal of enabling human life on Mars. As part of this mission, they've created Starlink, the world's most advanced broadband internet system, currently serving over 5 million users worldwide through the largest satellite constellation ever built.

The UXSW team at SpaceX is at the forefront of delivering digital experiences for Starlink's growing customer base. This role involves building and maintaining critical web and mobile applications that enable users to set up their Starlink service, monitor performance, manage their accounts, and access support. The team also develops innovative solutions including an LLM-powered chatbot for customer support.

As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, you'll work in a highly autonomous environment without project managers, taking direct responsibility for delivering the best internet experience from space. The role combines frontend expertise in TypeScript and React with backend development using .NET microservices running in Kubernetes. You'll be building highly reliable and scalable systems that operate with minimal maintenance while serving millions of users.

The position offers competitive compensation ranging from $160,000 to $220,000 per year, plus additional benefits including equity opportunities, comprehensive healthcare, and retirement plans. Working at SpaceX's Redmond office, you'll collaborate with talented engineers across the Starlink program, contributing to architecture decisions and participating in code reviews.

This is an exceptional opportunity to join a company that's not just building software, but actively shaping the future of global internet connectivity and space exploration. The role requires a strong technical background, attention to detail, and the drive to deliver exceptional user experiences for customers worldwide.
