Web Engineer - Backstage

Join Spotify's Backstage team as a Web Engineer and help shape the future of developer experience for millions of developers worldwide. We're building and maintaining Backstage, our thriving open-source developer experience platform that's revolutionizing how companies approach their internal developer portals. As a mid-level engineer, you'll work on delivering high-impact external commercial products that elevate industry standards for developer experience.

You'll be part of an autonomous, multi-functional team where you'll leverage your frontend expertise to design comprehensive solutions spanning both frontend and backend systems. Working with TypeScript, React, and NodeJS, you'll develop features that serve our growing open-source community and commercial customers. The role offers a unique blend of startup-paced development backed by global company resources.

The position provides the flexibility of hybrid work from either London or Stockholm, combining the benefits of remote work with collaborative in-person meetings.
