Transportation and Installation Engineer (T&I Engineer)

SSE Pacifico is seeking a Transportation and Installation Engineer (T&I Engineer) to join their Engineering team. The role involves providing specialist support across a range of offshore wind projects, including early-stage project development, detailed design, and construction activities. The successful candidate will work on both fixed-bottom and floating offshore wind projects, delivering high-quality work while adhering to all processes and procedures.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing interfaces with substructure designers and T&I contractors
• Developing and assessing loadout designs for substructures, topsides, cables, and WTGs
• Designing offshore installation activities for various components
• Producing sea keeping assessments for marine logistics and transportation
• Supporting T&I engineering requirements under internal governance frameworks
• Identifying and mitigating key T&I project risks
• Providing input on floating wind concepts and technology development projects

The ideal candidate should have:

• A degree in an engineering discipline
• Significant experience in energy development, preferably in renewables
• Offshore wind, marine engineering, and T&I experience
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Excellent communication abilities across multiple cultures
• Business-level proficiency in both Japanese and English
