Job Description
StackAdapt, the #1 performing native advertising platform, is seeking a Frontend Infrastructure Engineer to join their remote team in North America. This role is crucial in empowering product engineers to build fast, maintainable, and accessible user experiences through shared tooling, libraries, and best practices.
The position sits within the Frontend Infrastructure team, which plays a vital role in shaping the development ecosystem at StackAdapt. You'll be working with cutting-edge technologies including React, TypeScript, and GraphQL, while managing front-end CI/CD pipelines and improving developer workflows. The team collaborates closely with product design to maintain and evolve their design system and component library.
As a Frontend Infrastructure Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing and debugging front-end systems, identifying development bottlenecks, and keeping the tech stack modern and efficient. The role requires 2+ years of experience in building complex front-end systems and a strong understanding of scalable architecture and performance optimization.

Responsibilities For Software Engineer, Frontend Infrastructure
- Design, improve, and debug front-end systems and tooling for internal development workflows
- Identify and address bottlenecks in the front-end development lifecycle
- Keep front-end stack modern by evaluating and adopting evolving tools and frameworks
- Write extensible, scalable, and testable code for shared libraries and CI workflows
- Take part in technical planning and architectural decision-making
- Collaborate on designing scalable front-end architecture
- Take ownership of projects from start to finish
- Contribute to code reviews and technical spec reviews
Requirements For Software Engineer, Frontend Infrastructure
- 2+ years of full-time work experience building and maintaining complex front-end systems
- Knowledge of React, TypeScript, Redux/Zustand, Material UI, Jest, React Testing Library, GraphQL
- Experience owning technical projects end-to-end
- Strong understanding of scalable front-end architecture, monorepos, and shared code patterns
- Basic understanding of modern CI/CD workflows for front-end development
- Experience analyzing, benchmarking, and optimizing front-end performance
