This role is part of their Platform Engineering team, focusing on building and scaling their advertising platform that serves thousands of digitally-focused companies. The position involves working with modern tech stacks including GoLang, Ruby on Rails, React, and GraphQL, handling large datasets, and contributing to a diverse and flexible engineering culture. The Audiences team's mission is to enable marketers to achieve their goals through building powerful workflows for audience targeting and conversion journey data. As a Staff Engineer, you'll be responsible for making critical technical decisions, mentoring team members, architecting scalable solutions, and driving engineering excellence. Responsibilities For Staff Software Engineer - Full Stack
- Advise on full-stack technical decisions for the Audiences & CDP domain
- Unpack ambiguity and complexity and delegate work for greenfield initiatives
- Communicate complex technical endeavors both verbally and in technical design documents
- Architect scalable web APIs, component libraries and backend systems
- Collaborate with stakeholders to solve technical challenges
- Mentor the team and lead by example
- Conduct technical interviews
- Identify and solve system-wide performance issues
- Be a significant individual contributor in critical projects
Requirements For Staff Software Engineer - Full Stack
- 6+ years of experience building highly performant web applications
- Knowledge of React, Typescript, GraphQL, Ruby on Rails and Go
- Experience with test driven development
- Experience working with relational databases and key-value stores
- Experience analyzing and optimizing web application performance
- Experience leading large scale modernization efforts
- Experience collaborating with Product & Design teams
