Fullstack Software Engineer (Java + React), hybrid, Officer

Charles River Development (CRD), the FinTech division of State Street, is seeking a Fullstack Software Engineer to join their growing team. This role is part of the State Street Alpha® Platform, the industry's first front-to-back solution. CRD is undergoing an exciting transformation, moving from monolithic software to cloud-based technology leveraging Microsoft Azure, Kafka, and Snowflake.

The position offers a hybrid work arrangement requiring 3 days in the office per week, with locations in both Krakow and Gdansk, Poland. As a Fullstack Engineer, you'll be responsible for enhancing and maintaining Alpha/Charles River Development modules while working within an agile scrum team. The role involves collaboration with Business Analysts and Product Managers to create sustainable software solutions for complex problems.

The ideal candidate should have 2-4 years of Java development experience, preferably in FinTech, along with strong frontend skills in React. Knowledge of cloud services, SQL databases, and experience with technologies like C#/.Net, Kafka, and Kubernetes is highly valued.
