Java Senior Software Engineer, hybrid, Assistant Vice President

Charles River Development (CRD), the FinTech division of State Street, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their growing team. CRD is part of the State Street Alpha® Platform, the industry's first front-to-back solution. The organization is currently undergoing an exciting transformation, moving from monolithic software to cloud-based technology utilizing Microsoft Azure, Kafka, and Snowflake.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll work on developing new Java middle tier/server-side functionality, focusing on new product development in the financial space. This role requires either financial software experience or a strong understanding of financial markets. You'll be part of a senior-level engineering team working on challenging products in the FinTech domain.

The position offers a hybrid work arrangement requiring 3 days in the office per week, with locations in both Krakow and Gdansk. You'll be working in an Agile environment, contributing to the development of large and complex software solutions, collaborating with Business Analysts and Product Managers, and mentoring junior engineers.
