Software Engineer I

Charles River Development (CRD), the FinTech division of State Street, is seeking an entry-level Software Engineer to join their growing team. As part of the State Street Alpha® Platform, CRD has experienced significant growth, with a 135% increase in headcount over the last 5 years.

The role offers an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or graduating seniors to begin their career in software engineering. As a Software Engineer I, you'll be part of an innovative organization that is transforming their platform using next-generation cloud-based technologies including Microsoft Azure, Kafka, and Snowflake.

The position involves working on full-stack development, with a particular focus on front-end technologies like React, Angular, and TypeScript. You'll receive mentorship from senior engineers and leadership while contributing to real projects. The role offers exposure to various areas including Full Stack Development, Front-end UI/UX development, DevOps, and Database Engineering.

Key technologies you'll work with include:

• Modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular)
• Cloud platforms (Azure)
• Event-driven architectures
• Enterprise-level databases (Snowflake, SQL Server)
• Java and Spring framework
• Testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, Jasmine)
