Full Stack Software Engineer - Team Lead, Charles River Development, Assistant Vice President

Charles River Development (CRD), the FinTech division of State Street, is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer Team Lead to join their growing engineering organization. This role combines technical leadership with hands-on development, requiring expertise in cloud-native development, event-driven architectures, and modern technologies like Azure, Kafka, and Snowflake.

The position offers an opportunity to lead a team while contributing to the transformation of CRD's platform from monolithic software to next-generation cloud-based technology. The ideal candidate will have 8-15 years of experience in cloud native development, with strong skills in Java, Spring, and frontend technologies like Angular or React. Financial services industry experience, particularly in Portfolio Management, Trading, or Compliance, is highly valued.

As a Team Lead, you'll be responsible for managing a team of 6-10 engineers while actively participating in development, code reviews, and architectural decisions. The role involves close collaboration with Business Analysts and Product Managers to create sustainable software solutions for complex problems. You'll work in an Agile environment, participating in daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
