Full Stack Software Engineer, VP

Charles River Development (CRD), the FinTech division of State Street, is seeking a Vice President level Full Stack Software Engineer to join their growing engineering organization. This role is part of their initiative to transform their platform using next-generation cloud-based technologies including Microsoft Azure, Kafka, and Snowflake. The position offers an exciting opportunity to work on the State Street Alpha® Platform, the industry's first front-to-back solution.

The ideal candidate will have 8-15 years of experience in cloud native development, with strong expertise in Java, Spring, and event-driven architectures. You'll be responsible for developing and maintaining critical components of the Alpha/Charles River Development modules, working within an agile scrum team. The role involves both hands-on development and technical leadership, including mentoring junior engineers and driving technical excellence.

CRD is experiencing significant growth, having increased headcount by 135% over the last 5 years. They're particularly focused on expanding their European presence, with this position available in either Krakow or Gdansk, Poland.
