Senior Software Engineer, VP

Charles River Development (CRD), the FinTech division of State Street, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer VP to join their growing European presence. This role combines technical leadership with hands-on development, working on the State Street Alpha® Platform - the industry's first front-to-back solution. The position involves managing a cross-functional team while contributing as a senior member of a Scrum team.

As a Full Stack engineer and development manager, you'll be responsible for enhancing and maintaining Alpha/Charles River Development modules, working in an agile environment. The role requires strong technical expertise in Java, cloud platforms, and web technologies, combined with leadership capabilities to manage and mentor a team of up to 10+ people.

The ideal candidate will bring 8+ years of commercial software development experience, strong object-oriented design skills, and significant experience in financial services. You'll be working on mission-critical client implementations, collaborating with Business Analysts and Product Managers to create scalable solutions for complex problems.
