Backend Engineer, Core Technology

Stripe is a leading financial infrastructure platform powering millions of businesses worldwide. As a Backend Engineer in Core Technology, you'll join Stripe Infrastructure, responsible for the reliability, scale, performance, and cost of Stripe's systems. You might work across critical areas including Core Infrastructure (tier0 systems), Developer Infrastructure (developer productivity), Data Platform (data serving infrastructure), Admin Platform, Application & Revenue Platform, Service Platform, or Financial Systems. You'll design, build, test, and ship code daily, working on projects spanning technologies and systems. The role involves building great customer experiences, participating in roadmap planning, collaborating with stakeholders, and debugging production issues. You'll be part of a team that's essential to Stripe's mission of increasing the GDP of the internet, working with cutting-edge technologies and distributed systems at scale.
