This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead, design, and develop next-generation technologies that impact millions of users worldwide.
As a Lead Staff Software Engineer, you'll be integral in developing commercial and product strategies, focusing on user needs and exercising sound commercial judgment. You'll lead a team in designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining improvements across StubHub's consumer-facing properties. The role requires managing initiative definition, scoping, execution, and work prioritization to maximize impact.
The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of professional software development experience, including 3+ years in technical leadership and 2+ years with React. You should be experienced in building data-intensive, user-facing applications and creating solutions that maximize ROI and business impact.

The compensation package is highly competitive, including an attractive salary range of $240,000 – $350,000 per year, plus stock incentives. - Lead team to design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain impactful improvements across all StubHub's consumer-facing properties, resulting in high-quality outcomes
- Manage the definition, scoping, and execution of initiatives, work prioritization, and impact maximization for your team
Requirements For Lead Staff Software Engineer – Experimentation
- 10+ years of professional experience in software development
- 3+ years of technical leadership experience in a hands-on capacity
- 2+ years of in-depth experience with React and relevant toolsets/framework ecosystems
- Experience building data-intensive user-facing applications emphasizing insight discovery and streamlined data analysis
- Experience in designing and developing solutions that maximize ROI and led to significant business impact
- Proven ability to learn other coding languages, platforms, frameworks, and tools
- Experience working closely with product teams, designers, and other engineers to create impactful and highly-performant web experiences
