Description For Senior IT Support Engineer

StubHub, the world's leading marketplace for buying and selling tickets to live events, is seeking a Senior IT Support Engineer to join their global IT team in New York. As a Senior IT Support Engineer, you'll be responsible for keeping StubHub's IT infrastructure running smoothly and efficiently. Your duties will range from serving as an escalation point for IT support issues to supporting the transition to cloud-based solutions using AWS and Azure. You'll also play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing productivity tools, improving IT processes, and ensuring the security of the company's digital assets.

The ideal candidate should have at least 4 years of experience in IT support for multi-branch companies, along with a strong understanding of various technologies including Active Directory, Office 365, and Microsoft Azure. Proficiency in automation and scripting, particularly with PowerShell, is highly valued. The role requires a mix of technical expertise and excellent communication skills, as you'll be interacting with various teams and mentoring junior IT members.

Responsibilities For Senior IT Support Engineer

  • Serve as an escalation point within IT Support for StubHub teams
  • Support the transition from on-premises to Cloud (AWS and Azure) for corporate workloads
  • Assist with IT systems onboarding/offboarding
  • Keep endpoints updated via various tools
  • Administer and enhance productivity and collaboration tools
  • Improve IT Technology processes
  • Work with the security team to keep users and infrastructure secure
  • Be part of the On-Call rotation to provide weekend-hours support (when needed)

Requirements For Senior IT Support Engineer

  • 4+ years providing IT support to a company with multiple office branches
  • Systems Design and implementation experience
  • Solid understanding of Active Directory
  • Solid understanding of Office365, Exchange Online, and SharePoint Online
  • Experience administering A/V conferencing systems and collaboration tools
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft Azure
  • Experience deploying machines with automation tools
  • Automation/Scripting experience, preferably using Windows PowerShell
  • Basic understanding of networking
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
