Description For Testing Engineer

Sunlight Group Energy Storage Systems, a world-leading technology company with 30+ years of experience, is seeking a Testing Engineer to join their R&D Lithium Department in Xanthi, Greece. This role focuses on prototype development of lithium batteries for military and industrial applications, with emphasis on product design verification.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing design verification test plans for batteries under development
  • Setting up laboratory and test benches
  • Executing design verification tests and documenting results
  • Compiling work instructions for Prototype Technicians
  • Acting as a communication link between customers and Prototype Technicians
  • Producing data management plans and completing Review-Learn-Improve (RLI)
  • Delivering test commodity designs and developing standardized processes
  • Ensuring timely delivery of data and adherence to performance targets
  • Responsible for COSHH and Risk Assessment

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar role in an industrial/manufacturing environment
  • BSc in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical)
  • Excellent MS Office knowledge and fluency in English & Greek
  • Strong multi-tasking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
