Senior Smart Contract Engineer

Symbiotic is seeking a Senior Smart Contract Engineer to join their mission of building a permissionless shared security primitive for crypto infrastructure networks. As a backed by Paradigm and CyberFund, Symbiotic is focused on empowering network builders to customize their restaking implementation while minimizing risks.

The role involves working at the cutting edge of blockchain technology, specifically focusing on smart contract development and security. You'll be responsible for developing and maintaining core contracts, extensions, and middleware SDK, while working closely with protocol engineers across L1 and L2 chains. The position requires expertise in Solidity, deep understanding of EVM internals, and strong knowledge of DeFi concepts.

The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in blockchain technology, particularly in areas such as Ethereum architecture, consensus mechanisms, and cryptography. You'll be working with modern tools like Foundry and Hardhat, and contributing to both on-chain and off-chain components of the system.
