Application Support Engineer

Talworx, an emerging recruitment consulting and services firm, is seeking an Application Support Engineer for their Fintech product-based client. The client operates a leading digital invoice discounting platform under the Trade Receivable Discounting System (TReDS) framework. This role is specifically open for women candidates.

The platform plays a crucial role in connecting MSME suppliers with corporate buyers and financiers, facilitating real-time invoice discounting through a transparent, auction-based mechanism. By integrating with buyers' ERP systems, the platform ensures timely validation of invoices and provides access to competitive market rates, ultimately enhancing liquidity for MSMEs.

As an Application Support Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining PHP-based web applications, managing databases, and ensuring optimal performance of the system. Your role will involve writing efficient SQL queries, implementing security measures, and integrating various system components. You'll work closely with front-end developers and other stakeholders to deliver robust solutions.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in PHP programming, database management, and SQL optimization. You should be comfortable with both backend and frontend technologies, possess excellent problem-solving abilities, and have experience with automated testing. Strong communication skills are essential as you'll be collaborating with various team members.
