This role focuses on mainframe development using COBOL and related technologies, offering a competitive salary range of $65,600 - $98,400 CAD plus variable compensation.

The position requires 3+ years of mainframe application development experience, with expertise in COBOL, JCL, VSAM, TSO, ISPF, IMS DC/DB, and DB2. The successful candidate will contribute to technical designs, participate in complex systems development, conduct code reviews, and ensure application security and quality standards are met.

  • Contribute to functional, technical and user interface designs
  • Participate in complex applications and systems development
  • Participate in peer-to-peer code reviews
  • Identify issues and maintain processes
  • Make enhancements and troubleshoot
  • Configure and develop custom components
  • Ensure applications are free of common coding vulnerabilities
  • Complete unit and integration testing
