Description For Electrical Engineer

Teledyne Technologies is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join their team in Chatsworth, CA. This role focuses on developing complex circuit card assemblies for critical aerospace and defense applications, including aircraft ejection seat systems and escape system controllers.

Responsibilities For Electrical Engineer

  • Design, development and verification of high-complexity analog & digital CCAs
  • Design, development and verification of high-complexity FPGAs
  • Component selection based on performance specifications
  • Test fixture design and test procedure development
  • Factory support (troubleshooting in production and repair)
  • Technical mentoring of junior engineers
  • Documentation of circuit analysis, modeling and simulation
  • Conduct tests and analyses for new products development

Requirements For Electrical Engineer

Linux
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited school
  • 5+ years of experience in FPGA design/development
  • Experience with board-level design including CPU design, Gigabit Ethernet, DDR3/4, PCIe, USB, SATA
  • Working knowledge of EE design tools (OrCAD, ModelSim, PSpice)
  • Working knowledge of FPGA tools (Xilinx, Microsemi, Altera)
  • Experience with VHDL (FPGA development)
  • Must be a U.S. Person due to ITAR restrictions
