Teledyne Technologies is seeking a Senior Logic Design Engineer to join their team in Milpitas, CA. This role focuses on designing and testing FPGA circuitry for next-generation Test and Measurement Tools. As a Sr Logic Design Engineer, you'll be responsible for defining logic architecture, implementing designs using Verilog, and ensuring proper functionality through simulation and testing. The role requires expertise in FPGA development, protocol implementations (PCIe, CXL, NVMe, USB, SAS, SATA), and familiarity with AMD-Xilinx Vivado tools.

The position offers competitive compensation ranging from $113,600 to $151,400, based on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities For Sr Logic Design Engineer
- Define logic architecture of various blocks of the design
- Design blocks using Verilog and verify their block level functionality through simulation
- Document the design and review with the rest of the team
- Drive FPGA tools to compile the code and ensure timing closure
- Verify proper operation of circuit via system level test with test hardware
- Work with verification engineer to validate circuit in whole chip simulation environment
- Work with customer support to reproduce and fix issues found in the field
- Reproduce customer environment to reproduce failures
- Fix the RTL, recompile the FPGA and review changes with the team
Requirements For Sr Logic Design Engineer
- BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Computer Engineering required
- MS in Electrical Engineering is a plus
- Experience with protocols: PCIe, CXL, NVMe, USB, SAS, SATA
- Experience with Monitoring and/or Test & Measurement tools
- Knowledge in AMD-Xilinx Vivado and RTL simulation
- Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
- Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
