Responsibilities For Principal Robotics Engineer

  • Lead research, design, and development of robotic solutions for new Genie lift products
  • Develop advanced motion control, perception, and decision-making algorithms
  • Integrate sensors (LiDAR, cameras, IMUs, GPS, RADAR) and AI-based perception
  • Design, prototype, and test robotic control architectures
  • Collaborate with hardware and software teams
  • Develop and implement AI/ML models

Requirements For Principal Robotics Engineer

Python
  • Master's or Ph.D. in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in robotics development, industrial automation, or autonomous systems
  • Proficiency in robot programming and simulation (ROS, Gazebo, RoboDK, V-REP)
  • Strong proficiency in C++ or Python for robotics
  • Understanding of version control (Git), unit testing, debugging
  • Experience with off-road, construction, or industrial vehicle automation
  • Knowledge of robotic safety standards
