Responsibilities For Electrical Engineering Technician

  • Prepare and instrument test samples, execute tests, record, and analyze results on power electronics and battery storage systems
  • Assist with testing at in-house and local contract laboratories
  • Support the debug of products and sub-systems
  • Support the build and test of automated test equipment and peripherals
  • Rework prototypes and printed circuit board assemblies
  • Maintain ISO 17025 QMS accreditation
  • Manage laboratory operations including purchasing and calibration management

Requirements For Electrical Engineering Technician

  • Academic discipline in Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience in engineering development environment with NEC NFPA 70 experience
  • Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals, High Voltage/Power Electronics experience
  • Strong soldering, electronics fabrication/prototyping, mechanical fabrication/prototyping skills
  • Experience with common MS office programs
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills
  • Multi-tasking skills with ability to self-prioritize
