Responsibilities For Engineering Technician, Pilot Vehicle Engineering

  • Motor installation, debugging and commissioning in automation production environment
  • Create and validate processes/equipment for safety, manufacturability, quality, and efficiency
  • Oversee group operations and understand vehicle stacking order
  • Identify concerns and assess risk while providing creative countermeasures
  • Evaluate new parts and provide design feedback
  • Fabrication and machining of jigs, fixtures and prototype parts

Requirements For Engineering Technician, Pilot Vehicle Engineering

  • Practical working knowledge of process sheets, torque checks, weld operations, and safety procedures
  • Must be shift flexible with ability to work variable schedule including overtime
  • Strong problem solving skills including root cause analysis
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with or ability to learn Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Enovia/Catia/Delmia, Proplanner/Vizendo, MRT/Jira, MES/MOS
