Responsibilities For Engineering Technician, Testing, Power Electronics

  • Work closely with the Engineering team while creating test processes
  • Execute tests for Power Electronics products, including firmware and software validation testing
  • Record test results and provide feedback to the Engineering team
  • Maintain test fixtures and conduct component and system level tests
  • Monitor test equipment for correct function
  • Collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot and resolve issues
  • Prepare and maintain test parts, devices, and equipment
  • Support engineering teams in instrumentation and data acquisition
  • Comply with safety policies and regulations
  • Assist in design, perform builds, calibration, maintenance and troubleshooting of test equipment

Requirements For Engineering Technician, Testing, Power Electronics

Python
  • 2+ years of experience with testing, firmware, and software development in Power Electronics
  • Ability to operate safely various hand and power tools, shop tools, and lab equipment
  • Hands-on experience with test setup and execution, including data collection and analysis
  • Experience with programming languages such as C++, Python, or MATLAB
  • Excellent teamwork/interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with environmental stress testing or automated test systems
  • Positive attitude and ability to change direction quickly
  • High awareness of safety procedures and practices
