Responsibilities For Engineering Technician, Testing, Power Electronics
- Work closely with the Engineering team while creating test processes
- Execute tests for Power Electronics products, including firmware and software validation testing
- Record test results and provide feedback to the Engineering team
- Maintain test fixtures and conduct component and system level tests
- Monitor test equipment for correct function
- Collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Prepare and maintain test parts, devices, and equipment
- Support engineering teams in instrumentation and data acquisition
- Comply with safety policies and regulations
- Assist in design, perform builds, calibration, maintenance and troubleshooting of test equipment
Requirements For Engineering Technician, Testing, Power Electronics
- 2+ years of experience with testing, firmware, and software development in Power Electronics
- Ability to operate safely various hand and power tools, shop tools, and lab equipment
- Hands-on experience with test setup and execution, including data collection and analysis
- Experience with programming languages such as C++, Python, or MATLAB
- Excellent teamwork/interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with environmental stress testing or automated test systems
- Positive attitude and ability to change direction quickly
- High awareness of safety procedures and practices
