Tesla is offering an exciting internship opportunity for a Network Engineer in Infrastructure Engineering for Winter/Spring 2025. This role is part of Tesla's year-round internship program, which aims to recognize emerging talent and provide students with growth opportunities both technically and personally.
The internship is expected to start around January and continue through April/May, lasting for a minimum of 12 weeks. Interns will work in-person for 40 hours a week. The position is within the Engineering & Information Technology job category and is based in Fremont, California.
As a Network Engineer intern, you'll be specializing in network engineering within a global enterprise environment. You'll work closely with Staff Network Engineers on design and initiatives, maintaining current network solutions across manufacturing, workplace, retail, and data center environments. Your responsibilities will include functioning as a Tier 2-3 escalation point, gathering requirements, analyzing and proposing networking solutions, and implementing and maintaining networking services.

The ideal candidate should be pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, graduating between 2024-2026. Experience with mid-large global enterprise networking infrastructure is required, along with familiarity in various networking protocols and technologies.
