Responsibilities For Sr. Electronic Design Engineer, Test Systems Engineering
- Work closely with Tesla Product Design teams to develop end-to-end hardware test products
- Architect novel, robust PCBAs and electrical systems with software user interface
- Develop product specifications and break down requirements into detailed execution plans
- Perform bench testing on electrical designs to validate features
- Create high quality schematics and drawing packages and manufacturing instructions
Requirements For Sr. Electronic Design Engineer, Test Systems Engineering
- Degree in Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of hands-on PCBA design engineering experience
- Proficiency with electronic design software such as Altium, LTspice
- In depth understanding of communication protocols like CAN, Ethernet, SPI
- Demonstrated depth in end-to-end PCBA design
- Proficiency with basic EE tools
- Mixed Signal and Embedded System Design experience
- Proficiency in embedded (C, C++) and test automation (python) programming
