Responsibilities For Sr. Manufacturing Engineer, Cell Electrode
- Coordinate design, assembly, install, and commission next generation calendaring, lamination, and slitting equipment
- Collaborate with external equipment integrators on custom automation equipment
- Generate machine qualification checklists and manage installation
- Drive ramp of new lines by characterizing and improving baseline performance
- Development of manufacturing processes and ensure compliance with standards
- Collaborate with facility, EHS, electrical and design teams
- Drive Design for Manufacturability (DFM)
- Provide hands-on assistance to resolve technical quality issues
- Create manufacturing introduction and machine instructions
Requirements For Sr. Manufacturing Engineer, Cell Electrode
- Experience in high volume equipment manufacturing and installation
- Experience developing automated manufacturing equipment in 3D (SolidWorks preferred)
- Experience introducing new equipment and processes into production
- Experience with LOTO and safety practices
- Experience documenting processes and procedures
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally (~5%)
- Experience in roll to roll processing, winding/rewinding, or battery manufacturing preferred
