Responsibilities For Sr. Manufacturing Engineer, Paint and Powder Coating

  • Lead cross-functional collaboration across process, equipment, mechanical, electrical and support disciplines
  • Lead product design for manufacturability (DFM) and sustainability
  • Document product requirements for process and equipment specification
  • Develop advanced processing technologies and equipment from concept to production
  • Lead process qualification and verification using statistical tools
  • Manage large-scale projects for new programs
  • Develop timing plans and cost breakdowns for executive approval

Requirements For Sr. Manufacturing Engineer, Paint and Powder Coating

  • 8+ years of experience in technology-based industry with automated finishing/coating methods
  • Experience with automotive paint and powder coating processes
  • Experience with high-volume process equipment & automation systems
  • Experience in Design of Experiments (DOE)
  • Proficiency in Catia, SolidWorks, Inventor, and/or AutoCAD & automation software
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, or Chemical Engineering
  • Willing to travel 25% of the time
