Responsibilities For Sr. Process Engineer, Cell Tabless

  • Drive development of new/innovative manufacturing processes from proof of concept through to full scale production
  • Plan, execute, and support DoEs to characterize boundary conditions and optimize processes
  • Perform statistical analysis and report data for trials and DoEs
  • Develop and maintain process documentation
  • Create and maintain SPC charts for new processes and cell designs
  • Provide on-call support for cell pilot lines
  • Manage activities of engineering technicians
  • Champion continuous improvement projects
  • Develop and manage PFMEA risk assessments
  • Up to 20% travel to support rollout of new cell designs

Requirements For Sr. Process Engineer, Cell Tabless

Python
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of process engineering experience
  • Experience with Li-ion battery chemistry, cell assembly, and manufacturing processes
  • Experience with web handling and roll-to-roll processing
  • Knowledge of MySQL, Python / R and JMP / Minitab
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong written, verbal, presentation, and organizational skills
  • Deep understanding of engineering fundamentals
  • Proactive self-starter with a can-do attitude
