Thaloz is seeking a Backend Engineer to join their team in a remote capacity, working from Brazil. Responsibilities For GN - Backend Engineer - 118
- Develop and maintain backend services using Next.js (API routes and server-side logic)
- Design and implement secure authentication and authorization flows using Auth0
- Work with MongoDB to create efficient, scalable data models and queries
- Deploy and manage backend applications on Microsoft Azure
- Collaborate with frontend and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
- Ensure high performance, uptime, and responsiveness of backend services
- Write clean, maintainable code and conduct code reviews
Requirements For GN - Backend Engineer - 118
- Proven experience developing backend logic with Next.js (API routes or full-stack SSR/ISR)
- Strong understanding of MongoDB, including schema design and query optimization
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services (e.g., App Services, Cosmos DB, Functions)
- Proficiency with Auth0 or similar authentication/authorization platforms
- Solid knowledge of RESTful API design and integration
- Familiarity with Git and version control workflows
