Description For Entry Level Full-Stack Software Engineer

The Boeing Company is seeking an Entry Level Full-Stack Software Engineer to join their Ground Mission Management Software team, specifically for the FishTools program. This role is part of a system that has been crucial in the Intelligence community for 35 years, focusing on collection planning and mission management for space imaging platforms. The position offers an opportunity to work on both sustainment of existing systems and development of new capabilities using modern technologies.

The role involves working in a multi-tiered system developed on cloud infrastructure with several consumer-facing web applications. You'll be responsible for analyzing requirements, developing software solutions, and working directly with stakeholders to demonstrate and implement new features. The position requires strong technical skills in Java and modern JavaScript frameworks, particularly for full-stack development.

This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level engineer to work on meaningful projects in the aerospace and intelligence sectors. The position offers competitive compensation ranging from $76,500 to $103,500, along with comprehensive benefits including health insurance, retirement plans, and relocation assistance. The role requires an active Top Secret/SCI clearance and must be filled by a U.S. Person due to export control requirements.

Boeing offers a collaborative environment focused on innovation and professional growth, with the chance to work on systems that directly impact national security and space operations. The position is based in either Aurora, CO or Chantilly, VA, with a requirement for 100% onsite work.
