Description For Entry Level Full-Stack Software Engineer

The Boeing Company is seeking an Entry Level Full-Stack Software Engineer to join their Ground Mission Management Software team in either Aurora, CO or Chantilly, VA. The role is part of the FishTools program, which develops and maintains a Collection Planning and Mission Management system widely used within the Intelligence community. This 35-year-old program combines both sustainment and new development efforts, working with cloud infrastructure and multiple consumer-facing web applications.

The position offers an opportunity to work on mission-critical software that facilitates the scheduling, analysis, and mission awareness of multiple space imaging platforms. As a full-stack engineer, you'll be involved in everything from analyzing customer requirements to developing and maintaining distributed components in a cloud-based environment. The role requires strong Java programming skills and experience with modern JavaScript frameworks.

This is a 100% onsite position requiring an active Top Secret/SCI clearance. The compensation package ranges from $76,500 to $103,500, complemented by comprehensive benefits including health insurance, retirement plans, and relocation assistance. Boeing offers a collaborative environment focused on innovation and technical excellence, with opportunities to work on significant projects in the intelligence and aerospace sectors.

The ideal candidate will be a U.S. Person (for export control compliance) with a strong foundation in software development, eager to contribute to both new feature development and system maintenance. While the position requires occasional travel and possible after-hours support, it offers the chance to work on sophisticated systems that play a crucial role in national security and space operations.
